My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Rudy is a gorgeous, snugly, gentle, affectionate and playful, one-year-old, 55-pound, male, red and white Pit Bull Terrier/Dogue de Bordeaux-mix looking for a loving guardian. Rudy is basically a cuddly, loving coach potato of a dog. He loves his walks and will play with his rope toy or Kong for a few minutes … but, his favorite place in the world is cuddling with you. He’s a surprisingly low-energy fellow who enjoys his nap-time. Rudy was found stray in Evanston, Illinois. He is perfectly housebroken, crate-trained, knows the command “sit” and takes treats nicely from your fingers. He absolutely loves people of all ages. Rudy probably grew up as the only pet in the home, so he can easily go on walks with other dogs, but would probably be best as the one and only pet in the home. Rudy is very healthy, de-wormed, neutered, and up-to-date on vaccinations, micro-chipped, and tested heartworm negative. To meet and possibly adopt Rudy, please fill in the online application at http://www.secondhandsnoots.org and follow up on your application by e-mailing adoption@secondhandsnoots.org or phoning 847-791-3647. His adoption fee of $250 benefits the rescued dogs of Secondhand Snoots. He is being fostered in Evanston, Illinois.
