Jeremy's Story...
Jeremy: 2 year old redbone coonhound; good with other dogs/people/kids

"Two year old Jeremy is a cheerful boy with a devil-may-care attitude. He's quite personable and outgoing so enjoys meeting new people. Although he relishes ear scratches and tummy rubs, he revels in rough and tumble play with his doggy friends. He thinks that tennis balls are the cat's meow and races jubilantly around at full speed when he gains possession of one. He was a stray who ended up a shelter; he's still very thin but is slowly gaining the missing poundage. When he's at his fighting weight, his lithe muscles and sleek red coat are going to make him a handsome and popular guy with the ladies! Jeremy's adoption fee is $150; he's neutered, microchipped and current on vaccinations."

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Jeremy, a Indianapolis Redbone Coonhound dog was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Redbone Coonhound for sale in Indianapolis, or seeking a Redbone Coonhound dog from a breeder in Indianapolis.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Indianapolis already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Indianapolis breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Redbone Coonhound breeders who help with Redbone Coonhound rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Indianapolis paves the way for another one to be saved.
