Raven Leigh's Story...
Raven Leigh is an unusually beautiful cat. She's petite weighing only 6.4 pounds and is estimated to be a year old. She has a quiet, calm way about her and seems to always be amazed at the world around her. She's being fostered by a family with children, other cats, and lots of activity to enjoy. We met Raven Leigh along with her three babies when she was held by animal control in Scottsboro, AL. Lying in her cage, nursing, she had a bewildered look on her face that touched our volunteers. She's one of those many cats who got an uneasy start in life and we want her to feel secure and safe from now on. To meet Raven Leigh, please email info@FORrescue.net. Her foster mom will be happy to tell you about her and invite you to meet her. She's fostered in Huntsville, AL

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Raven Leigh, a Huntsville Domestic Longhair cat was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Longhair for sale in Huntsville, or seeking a Domestic Longhair cat from a breeder in Huntsville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Huntsville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Huntsville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Longhair breeders who help with Domestic Longhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Huntsville paves the way for another one to be saved.
