http://www.valleydogs.org/chuy.html -- Hello – my name is Chuy. I am a 3 year old Chihuahua. Aren’t I a cutie-pie? I am a small boy, about 6 lbs, and completely housebroken. My original mom dropped me off at a friend’s house and now says she doesn’t want any dogs. It breaks my heart because the lady keeping me can’t for much longer – her apartment says no dogs. They mention this place called “the pound” and it sounds scary. I don’t want to go there – can you help me, please?

I am good with other dogs (I lived with a 40 lb lab mix and a Mastiff and had been staying with a Chihuahua and an Akita mix) and I am good with kids. I have been exposed to something called cats – I basically ignored them (besides – they were bigger than me!).

I am a happy little guy, although a bit shy and reserved at first. I love to be held and carried around and would love to be your constant companion. I am particularly fond of the human ladies. I walk well on a leash. I love to snuggle and have been known to enjoy sleeping next to my human on the pillow. I am not a barker or a whiner, and have spent a couple of nights in a crate without any issues.

I have been neutered and am up to date on my shots.
