Kaffir's Info...

I am already neutered, up to date with shots, good with kids, and good with cats.

Kaffir's Story...
Kaffir is a 10-week-old male black fluffy kitten looking for a loving home. Kaffir has a brother Yuzu, who has sleek black hair, and an adorable sister Lemon who is a gorgeous calico. Kaffir will be happiest adopted with one of his siblings or with his mommy Minneola who is still a playful kitten herself. Kaffir, his brother, sister and mom are fully-vetted and are very healthy. They are spayed/neutered, virus-tested, de-wormed, de-flea’d, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines and micro-chipped. To meet and possibly adopt any of these delightful family members, please contact me directly at sheri@petraits.com or 773-777-2891. Their adoption fee of $75 each or $125 as a pair benefits rescued pets. They are currently living with me in Chicago’s Andersonville neighborhood.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Kaffir, a Chicago Domestic Mediumhair kitten was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Domestic Mediumhair for sale in Chicago, or seeking a Domestic Mediumhair kitten from a breeder in Chicago.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Chicago already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Chicago breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Domestic Mediumhair breeders who help with Domestic Mediumhair rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Chicago paves the way for another one to be saved.
