My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

t's very often the unimaginable...what these wonderful and perfectly-tempermented dogs go through at the hands of non-thinking humans! Shawn is a perfect example of a truly great dog who had the misfortune of being the pet of uncaring humans. He was dropped off at a kennel...never to see his family again. They were unreachable...no service at listed number. Their home address turned out to be a gas station with no residents anywhere to be seen. Once again, Fefe's in Oklahoma rose to help this gorgeous and VERY friendly dog. Shawn is just about 4.5 - 5 years old and weighs somewhere around 15 lbs. He would be the ideal companion for a super-loving (he deserves it!!) and committed family who enjoy the sensible and very loyal and devoted energy of a mini Eskimo Dog. We feel that Shawn would enjoy the company of gentle kids as well as other dogs. He loves to play with both and can be counted on to never be aggressive but always sweet and kind in all of his encounters. While Shawn would love to run and romp outdoors with his family, he's really a house dog in his heart. He would love nothing more than to be a full time companion...be it on the couch as a foot-warmer or in the car riding shotgun on errands or visits with dog-friendly friends. It would be Shawn's greatest joy to be appreciated as a great guy...but more important...as a full-fledged member of a family. Shawn would not be happy with a full-time worker where he would spend many hours alone. He would blossom just being included in the action....he would never choose to let anyone down and would always try his hardest to have the best behavior around. Shawn has a thick coat made for the winter. It needs to be cared for with brushing and bathing...this will minimize shedding as well as keeping his coat shining and healthy.

Shawn will be arriving on transport in early November. Applications are currently being accepted for this very loving and devoted companion.
