Tiny Tim's Story...
Tiny Tim is just short of 6 months old and only weighs about 4.5 lbs. He will not get much bigger than he is now- she he will stay tiny. He is a typical puppy- happy, tail wagging, and sweet. He will need a family that has the time and patience to care for a puppy, which includes house training.

Tiny Tim is our wonder dog- as he is a parvo survivor! Parvo is a virus that attacks the intestines of pups and can be very deadly. His little body fought and fought during his 7 days of hospitalization and he finally beat it. He will not have any long term effects from the virus and has been given a clean bill of health from the vet. Tiny Tim's adoption fee of $275 goes towards the cost of his vetting.

If you are interested in adopting, please complete an adoption application, which can be found on our website at www.perfectpooches.org under the "Adoption Process" tab. All dogs are spayed/neutered, current on vaccines, heartworm tested ( as appropriate), fecal tested, and microchipped.

Why Adoption is a Great Option

Tiny Tim, a Romeoville Chihuahua/Papillon puppy was adopted! Here's how you can benefit by looking at adoption as an option to buying a Chihuahua/Papillon for sale in Romeoville, or seeking a Chihuahua/Papillon puppy from a breeder in Romeoville.

  1. Rescues and shelter volunteers in Romeoville already know the personality and tendencies of their pets. This means they can match you with the right pet. That will makes it much easier transition to owning a pet for yourself and your new pet.
  2. On average adoption fees are much less than you'd pay a Romeoville breeder, or pet store. Plus most often rescue pets have already been to the veterinarian for a check-up, had a round of vaccinations, and are spayed or neutered. That is a lot of savings!
  3. You will become a hero, and give a needy dog or cat a loving home. In fact, there are even Chihuahua/Papillon breeders who help with Chihuahua/Papillon rescue. One puppy or kitten adopted in Romeoville paves the way for another one to be saved.
