Please Share ... Liz the Senior Chihuahua Needs a Home For Retirement
Liz is a friendly, sweet, loving and cuddly, 11-year-old, seven-pound, female, fawn Chihuahua looking for a loving guardian.
Liz loves people and good with dogs of all shapes, ages and sizes in her foster home. She has not been cat-tested. She sleeps under the covers with the rest of the dogs in her foster mom’s bed. And, she is great in the car and even tolerates being buckled into a doggie car seat.
Liz is housebroken and also uses a pee pad in the home. She sits on command and will dance for his treats; she takes them very gently from your fingers. She has a wonderful, lovely and gentle disposition.
Poor Liz was rescued from Chicago Animal Care & Control where she almost died of pneumonia. Luckily, she was rescued by the Famous Fido Rescue Group just in the nick of time!
Liz is a healthy senior, de-wormed, spayed, up-to-date on vaccines, micro-chipped, heartworm-tested and on monthly preventative. She does take medication for a heart murmur, and due to arthritis in her back legs, she needs to be carried up and down stairs.
To meet and possibly adopt her, please fill in the on-line adoption application at: http://famousfidorescue.com/rescueforms/machform/view.php?id=26727
And follow up your application by e-mailing her foster mom Donna at donnapronk@aol.com or 281-467-3298 , or contact Liz’s rescuer Kristan at kristan@ameritech.net or 773-425-5305.
