Thisl ittle sweetie, can't wait to get to your face and give lots of doxie kisses! Shelby is also full of energy! As little as she is, she can jump up and her nose gets just as high as the kitchen counter. She loves to run with the boys after all the squirrels in the backyard! She will curl up next to you. She is a soft, shinny little doll. She gets along well with the other dogs. She likes the crate.

Shelby is about 7 yrs old. She has some masses on her abdomen and chest which are benign and do not cause her any trouble.

dreamhappytails.org/adoptform.shtml Shelby 's adoption fee is $275. All adoption fees go directly to veterinary care for DREAM dachshunds. Shelby will go to his/her new home microchipped, altered, heartworm tested, and up to date on vaccinations. Most dogs' veterinary expenses are greater than our adoption fees.

DREAM is an all-volunteer rescue group, and we focus on the Atlanta, North Georgia and Savannah area. Because we are all volunteers, we can consider applications only within an hour of these areas. DREAM does not recommend purebred dachshunds for families with children under 5, or families planning to have children during the dog's lifetime. Dachshunds are often not patient with little kids, and kids can accidentally hurt a doxies's back.
