3. Meet the Pet

AKA: Fall in love

4. Interview

It's not hard....promise

5. Sign Adoption Contract

6. Pay Fee

Fees range from $50 to $225, depending on breed and age

7. Take the Pet Home

Please do not email us about animals until you have filled out an application. Our animals go quickly and applications are reviewed first come, first served. Once you are in the queue to be a potential adopter, you will receive an email in which you can respond to with any further questions.

We do not ship or transport animals out of the area. You can live anywhere and adopt from us, but you must make arrangements to come meet and adopt your pet in person.

To adopt an animal, just click the application link (www.ahope4src.com/adoptions) and find the animal you are interested in. Click on the photo of the animal and fill out the application.

Our animals are only able to be met in person after their second round of vaccinations and/or once they are in good health. This means no animal is able to be met until they are at least 6 weeks old. So we have many more animals available who are just too young to be listed.

Animals may not go home until they are at least 8 weeks old and fixed. We require a $50, non refundable, fee to hold an animal at the time you meet them. If you cannot come meet the animal before their adoption available date and you wish to hold them, you must pay the full adoption fee, non refundable. Deposits go towards the final fee. Once an animal is ready to go home, you have 48 hours to pick them up. Fees and further information is on our website at www.ahope4src.com/adoptions

About A HOPE

A HOPE is a dedicated non profit organization working to lessen intake and euthanasia at our local shelters. We pull the neediest pets and bring them up to health and socialization so they can be adoptable.

Our primary focus is not adoptions, but to change mindsets and work towards a better future for our animals. We study local law and practices in order to put things in place which will lay out a life-saving future.

We offer low cost spay/neuter, vaccines, and microchipping services as well as humane education, free pet food, and transport.

We do anything in our power to change the outlook for animals in and around the Florida Panhandle.

Come Meet A HOPE's Pets

All of our furkids are in very comfortable foster homes learning to socialize and what it's like to be loved. If you see a pet you'd like to meet, just click their photo on our website to fill out an adoption application and we'll set up the appointment!
