Rescue FAQs

CARE of Santa Rosa County focuses on our local shelter to help save as many animals as possible. We also work hard to help our community animals through rescue efforts, spay/neuter assistance, and helping families in crisis with food for their pets. Additionally, we strive to educate the public about the importance of spaying/neutering and adopting.
We are based in Navarre, FL and focus on Santa Rosa County, but also help all surrounding counties including Escambia, Okaloosa, Walton and more...

The first step to our Adoption Process is to fill out an application located here: http://form.jotform.us/form/52448163568160

We review applications in the order they are received, however our main goal is to find the "Best" home and family for each of our babies. Once application has been approved, we will arrange a meet and greet and home visit.

Adoption Fees are as Follows:
Dogs: $150 ( Includes Spay/Neuter, UTD on Shots, Micro Chip, and Current on flea and heart worm prevention )
Cats: $75 ( Includes Spay/Neuter, Felv Fiv Testing, UTD on Shots, Micro Chip and Current on Flea prevention )
