SPCA of Marion County's Adoption Process

1. Meet the Pet

Adopter is invited to foster home to meet pet.

2. Submit Application

3. Home Check

Determine if the home is safe for pet and potential parent can take care of pet.

4. Take the Pet Home

Allow a few weeks to see if pet adapts well to home and everyone is happy.

5. Pay Fee

6. Approve Application

We make every effort to provide a healthy pet. In the event, an adopter can no longer care fore the pet, we will be happy to take the pet back into our care and re-home it.
