Areas Legacy Humane Society Serves

Legacy Humane Society was established in 2008. Our team is dedicated to helping dogs who are unwanted, abandoned, or lost. We focus on finding these loyal souls proper care and loving forever homes. If you are interested in fostering, volunteering, or donating – please contact us immediately. The more help we receive, the more lives we can save!

Legacy Humane Society's Adoption Process

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be UTD , current on HW prev and S/N. If a home visit is needed we will compele that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fee is $200 for dogs ad $250 for puppies. We spend an average of $300 on each dog/puppy, so the adoption fee helps pay for the vetting for future dogs we bring into the program. Their is a 5 day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family.
