My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Age: 10 years Weight: 15 lbs

Willow was surrendered to a city shelter after her owner could no longer care for her. Fortunately, her foster family came along and now she's resting comfortably in their home until she's adopted. Willow has mature cataracts and is about 85% blind in both eyes. She
is looking for a special family who has enough love and patience to help her thrive. Stayed tuned for more photos and info as we get to know Willow!

Willow doesn't shed but will need regular, professional grooming to stay happy and healthy. Please consider this additional cost when applying.

She is spayed, current on vaccines, microchipped, and heartworm negative. Willow's adoption fee is $200. Please apply online if interested: Adoption Application - Legacy Humane Society

We do not have a facility to house the dogs in our program. They are all kept in foster homes until they are adopted. Therefore, if you are interested in adopting from LHS, please complete an online application at http://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoptfoster/adoption-application/ and we will contact you asap about the status of your application.

Additional adoption info

Adopters will complete an adoption app. If he/she has a pet, we will check their vet reference and a home visit is not needed (as long as the vet reference is current). All pets must be up to date current on Heartworm prevention and S/N. If a home visit is needed, we will complete that ASAP--as we don't want any delays in the adoption process. The adoption fees are listed here: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/adoption-fees/. There is a 5-day grace period to make sure he/she is a good fit for your family. A full refund will be issued if the pet is returned within the 5-day trial period. Before you chose to adopt, check out this link for a few items to consider before making this big step: https://legacyhumanesociety.org/are-you-ready-to-adopt/
