Appalachian Ohio SPCA, Inc. Animal rescue in Scio, OH

We are the new (and ONLY) SPCA in this region of eastern OH, in close proximity to PA and WV. Therefore, we are a multi-county SPCA, presently focused on animals in Harrison, Belmont, Jefferson, Guernsey, Tuscarawas, Carroll and Columbiana Counties. As we grow, we will include additional counties in the Appalachian region of Ohio. Having said that, we will try to help any animal anywhere if we can do so, even if outside that perimeter and outside the State of Ohio. Many of the animals we currently help are the product of puppy mills in neighboring PA and in our own backyard right here in Ohio.

Additional adoption info

An application must first be completed and returned. We will check references/landlords, etc. A home visit will be scheduled. We do require companion animals be treated as such. The pets are never to live exclusively outdoors. Once you have met the pet, after the application has been approved, a contract is then signed.
