We do not have a written adoption application. We prefer personal interviews to determine if a particular dog will be a good match. Our goal is lifelong happiness for each of our dogs.

About RanchDog Rescue
We specialize in Australian Cattle Dogs (Blue/Red Heelers), Australian Shepherds, and Border Collies. We have only a small number of rescue dogs at any time so that we can give each dog the individual attention and training they need. Our rescue dogs live in a family environment while they are with us. They are not kept in kennels or runs, but play outdoors in the large fenced yard, and are in and out of the house at their leisure.
After several years of fostering dogs for local shelters, we officially began RanchDog Rescue in memory and honor of our beloved dog Rodeo, who taught us that there are many extraordinary dogs in shelters across America.

Yet animal shelters are filled with dogs and cats who must find homes.
So rather than buying a dog or puppy for sale from a dog breeder or buying a cat or kitten for sale from a cat breeder, we encourage people to adopt a dog, adopt a cat, adopt a puppy or adopt a kitten at their local animal shelter, SPCA, humane society or pet rescue group.
