Gateway Area Humane Society, Inc.

Animal rescue in Mt Sterling, KY

We are a humane society that was established in 1982. For quite some time we have worked without a physical facility doing neglect, cruelty investigations and follow-ups, as well as rescue and adoptions from the county shelter and directly from the community. We work with a humane society in New Hampshire and transport dogs there several times per year in addition to doing local adoptions. We have a shelter/spay neuter clinic. We believe that the only long term solution is to promote spaying and neutering in every way possible.
