Dog People of Livingston

Dog People of Livingston is a 501c3 non-profit organization focused on improving the lives of homeless dogs in our community. We are a foster based rescue located in Livingston Parish, Louisiana. Our dedicated team of rescuers, fosters, and volunteers works tirelessly saving the lives of homeless dogs throughout our parish along with dogs at our 2 local animal control shelters. Through our adoption and transport programs as well as partnerships with northern rescues and shelters, we have been able to help over 1000 puppies and dogs find their forever homes locally and out of state.
We also provide low cost and free spay and neuter for our region's residents thanks to grants and donor programs and have snipped over 2000 local pets.
