Ruby Ranch Horse Rescue (RRHR) is a 501(c)(3) non-profit organization dedicated to providing shelter, care and rehabilitation for abused, neglected, abandoned, and unwanted horses, including horses that can no longer be cared for by their owners and horses at risk of going to slaughter. RRHR will adopt each horse to a permanent caring and positive environment that is mutually beneficial to both horse and human.
Ruby Ranch Horse Rescue provides services for the state of Colorado, specifically the Denver and Colorado Springs areas.

Additional adoption info

Adoption procedure page is on our website. An initial application is required, then a visit to the ranch. If a suitable match is available and approved, a contract is required including reference checks and a home visit.
