Areas Feline Friends Network Serves

Based in Stratford, Ontario, Feline Friends Network began in 2006 to humanely end the problems of cat overpopulation and homelessness in our area.

We hope to see a day when every cat may be deemed to be of value, with the opportunity to live a full and natural life. Our vision for the future? Each life respected... and protected.

We recognize that cat overpopulation and homelessness cannot be solved by adoption alone – there are simply too many cats, and not enough good homes. Therefore, our emphasis centres on spay/neuter and education programs.

FFN is a 100% volunteer-run, incorporated non-profit organization, and a registered charity.

Feline Friends Network's Adoption Process

1. Submit Application

Please fill out an inquiry form at https://www.felinefriends.ca/foster-and-adoption

2. Interview

A volunteer will contact you. Please note that if the cat is adopted or would not be a good fit you may not be contacted

3. Meet the Pet

The adoption fee is $135.00 per cat/kitten. Please note that vet care is not free for us and this does not cover our costs so any additional donation is appreciated.
We have an adoption contract and do follow up calls after the cat or kitten is adopted. We want to make sure it is working out for both the adopted animal and its caregivers. We offer support and will take an animal back into our care if it is not working out after proper introductions are done within a certain time period. We provide information sheets and will discuss how to best introduce your new pet to your home, family and other pets.
We do not allow declawing.
All cats/kittens are neutered/spayed, vaccinated with age-appropriate vaccines and receive a preventative flea and worm treatment.
