Willow was a stray found wondering in a rural farming community of NE AL. She was so matted we had to take her to the groomer to be cleaned up and shaven. Once her hair grows back she will once again be the beautiful girl that she was meant to be.Willow is a super affectionate girl (3-4 yrs old) that only wants to please. She gets along great with everyone and is good with children. She is a little shy but comes around quickly once she meets you. She is learning her leash manners but is doing very well and catching on quickly. She will go in her crate for feeding but needs a little nudge now and then. Willow sleeps in the living room with the other dogs at our rescue and we have not had any problems with her chewing. Willow is a seasoned girl and would make the perfect pet for someone that is looking for a girl that has already gotten past her puppy stage. Great companion animal! Willow weighs around 40 lbs and is not a very big girl at all. Smaller than the average Golden Retriever.A basic obedience training program would benefit Willow geatly.
