My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Rebel is a super sweet little 4 year old boy and just wants to hang with his humans. He is OK with kids as long as they know not to pull his ears, tail, or poke at him. For that reason, Rebel will only go to a home with children 6+ yrs old. He is a Chihuahua mix and has a lot of the Chi characteristics like trembling when he is nervous or stressed. Other than that is just a loveable little lap dog.

He loves to sleep with his humans under the covers and snuggle while watching TV.
Rebel will let you know he wants out by sitting in front of you and stare at you. If you say do you want to go outside he will get excited. Sometimes if you are not paying attention he will push you with his front feet. Its really cute the way he does that!

He likes toys  and likes to play silly little games when he is in the mood. He loves playing outside for short periods but really prefers being in the house. He will let you put doggie sweaters on him to help keep him warm during cold weather.

Rebel has been brought up to date on all his shots including his rabies vaccines, and has been started on all preventatives. He had surgery for luxated patella, which is not uncommon in small dogs,  and has recovered nicely.   We are an all volunteer, non profit rescue so all funds go right back into the care of the animals we rescue. His adoption fee is $275.
