My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

Meet McCoy!  This fabulous, lovable, water-loving boy was born around 07/1/2007.  He doesn’t know that he’s a senior dog, and we’re not going to tell him!

If you like them big, look at this guy.  He is enormous, huge, and fit at 165 pounds!

Mr. Silly Pants takes every opportunity to play in water.  He loves jumping into kiddie pools and decorative ponds, and loves playing in the rain!  No doubt, he’d love splashing through creeks and any other source of water.

He is a bit exuberant when he wants to get somewhere, so he could possibly knock over someone who is not too steady on their feet, such as a toddler or elderly person.

He loves being around other dogs, and hasn’t met one he doesn’t like!  He would love to have at least one other doggie companion in his forever home.  The more, the merrier for this amazing dog.

Mack is house trained, leash trained, rides nicely in a car, and is nice to cats living in the house.  He has no need for a crate, unless he wants to take cover in one during a thunderstorm; he panics a bit when thunder rolls, and he wants to be in a small protected place in the house.

This sweetheart doesn’t like big changes in his life.  In order to limit an extended trip for him, he is available for adoption exclusively in the extended Dallas/Fort Worth area.

SPIN Pyrs are all in foster homes in the Dallas/Fort Worth area. Potential adopters are asked to make travel arrangements if they live elsewhere. All SPIN dogs are spayed or neutered, current on vaccinations and on heartworm prevention. Please go to our website www.SpinRescue.org and fill out an application for this great Great Pyrenees!
