My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET JAKE!

This most handsome Cockapoo is named Jake! Jake is around 10 years old and was surrendered to City of Elderly Love because his former owner was moving into an assisted living facility and couldn't bring him along. He's now looking for a loving forever home!

Jake is one good boy! He's quiet, mild-mannered and has settled into his new foster home wonderfully. In his previous home, he lived with a cat and was used to regular visits from the grand kids. We think Jake would be happiest in a quiet home where he can snuggle up on the couch with his favorite humans, go for a walk around the neighborhood, an adventure to the pet supply store or local coffee house, perhaps? Jake is currently living in foster care with another small dog. He's never lived with another dog before, but they enjoy each other's company but don't really look to play with each other. He'd likely do well in a home with another low-key, friendly dog but would be happy to be your one and only man's best friend too! He does guard his food from his foster brother so should be fed separate from other dogs. Oddly enough, he likes to bark at other dogs on the TV! Silly boy. Looking for an easy-going, sweet, housebroken dog? Perhaps Jake is the boy for you!

Jake is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped! He received a clean bill of health from our vet recently. Interested in adopting him?
