Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Yes, you read that right. Meggie is 12 years old. And her family DUMPED HER in the shelter in the middle of winter.
We were not going to let her sit on concrete or die alone in a shelter. And we welcomed Meggie with open arms to our Squad. OLD IS GOLD.
She is partially sighted and mostly deaf. She's learning the layout of her foster home and is able to go up and down the stairs to the backyard without a problem after only 2 days.
We don't expect her to get adopted. We don't expect one application. And we don't care. We will love her until it's her time.
And to the family that dumped her.....well, we are just too polite to tell you what we think.
But she is available for adoption. We were just angry when we wrote this.
