Here's what the humans have to say about me:
MEET FUZZNUT!
This dude is just as silly as his name suggests, meet Fuzznut! This handsome 7-8 year old Tuxedo found his way to City of Elderly Love after being brought to Philadelphia's animal control shelter because his former owner was moving and couldn't bring him along. He lucked out and found a loving foster home to recover from his stint of homelessness and is now residing at Pet Supplies Plus in Phoenixville, waiting to catch the eye of a loving forever family!
Fuzznut is a petite guy, weighing in around 9 lbs. He's always dressed to the 9s in his beautiful black and white coat and has just a little smidge of mustache under his nose. He acts like a much younger cat and is full of energy, playing with his mouse toys and running around in his cat tree. He's very chatty and has a cute, chirpy voice that he uses to greet people and get attention. He loves food and treats, so the way to his heart is a nice can of wet food! He can be a little jumpy with loud noises, sudden movements, or people reaching over his head, and for that reason he would prefer not to live with children.
He's getting used to living with other animals in his foster home and has had pretty good interactions with other cats and a small dog. He may have a preference for female cat companions. He likes to engage in roughhousing, but he's okay taking correction from friends who don't want to play. We think he would love to have a young, spry companion to horse around with!
He was recently neutered and his personality is still changing a little with the change in hormones. He's mellowing out and becoming more gentle and affectionate with his people, however he does still sometimes get a little too excited during playtime. He would benefit from someone to patiently help bring out the gentle, silly sweetheart we know he can be. We don't think he had the most stable life before and is aching for someone to show him patience and kindness.
Fuzznut is currently residing at COEL's adoption kennels at Pet Supplies Plus in Phoenixville! You can stop by any day to meet him at 700 Nutt Rd. Phoenixville, PA 19460! He is vaccinated, microchipped and neutered. He is also FIV/FeLV negative and recently had a professional dental cleaning. Interested in adopting him?
