My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET THE ADMIRAL!

This oh-so-handsome ginger boy is named Admiral! He may be the sweetest, most affectionate dude out there. And believe it or not, he was found as a stray in Philadelphia and no one came to claim him at the shelter! City of Elderly Love happily took him on to help get him healthy and find the perfect adoptive home.

Admiral is around 10 years old and LOVES food almost as much as he loves people. He's easy going, mellow and mild-mannered. He adores snuggling though doesn't always love to be picked up. That's okay though, he'll happily hop up on the couch to get to you. He is currently in a foster home with other cats where he is sharing a room with two rambunctious kittens and doesn't mind them at all! If you're looking for an easy addition who is also incredibly handsome, Admiral is the guy for you!

Since coming to City of Elderly Love, he has had a full veterinary workup. Besides needing a dental cleaning with extractions so his mouth was no longer painful from cracked and no-good teeth (he has ONE left though eats without any problems), he's a healthy boy! Admiral is positive for FIV (negative for FeLV) which is an autoimmune disease and we know nowadays isn't a big deal since he's otherwise got a strong immune system. He can happily live with FIV negative cats without issue and will live a long, healthy life!

Admiral is available for adoption through City of Elderly Love. He is neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. Interested in adopting him? Visit www.cityofelderlylove.org to complete an online adoption questionnaire or email us at info@cityofelderlylove.org!
