Here's what the humans have to say about me:
CHARLIE
This sweet boy, only 2 years old and 55 lbs was rescued from a bad situation by a good samaritan who can foster him only until January. Charlie was living in a back yard with very occasional food and water until he was rescued.
This rough start has not gotten Charlie down.
He is a happy-go-lucky, friendly and sweet guy despite his rough start. He get's along with everyone he meets.
He is a playful and silly pup with lot's of personality and fun. He brings laughter to his foster family's home and is an excellent house guest.
Charlie has been living in his foster home and learning how to be a house dog. He is receiving some training from our AFLAR trainer to help him learn good canine manners. He is crate trained. He is learning good leash manners and would love two walks a day and a back yard to play with his family in.
Charlie may do ok in a home with a dog his size with continued training. He is still learning his dog to dog manners and can be bossy about sharing food and toys with another dog. He would also do well as an only dog.
Charlie's ideal home would be an active home where his family has time to continue his training and give him the love, leadership and stability that he needs to thrive.
He would do fine with older children and we don't know about cats.
