My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hilda - female Terrier DOB 10-21-2018.  She was owner relinquished.  She is very a little shy at first but once she is comfortable she is very precious.  Hilda is not great with other dogs.  She is a man's dog and would do best with a single male home.  She doesn't like to share her man.

More about this shelter

Our facility was opened in 1978. We have 7 employees. We provide a pretty good life for our shelter animals while always trying to get them adopted into new loving homes. We take cats PetSmart in Springfield every two weeks. We also take advantage of as many remote adoption events as possible. We receive no funding from any city, state or government agencies. We survive through donations, fundraisers and our Thrift Shop (resale store) located in downtown Reeds Spring, MO. We also have a Guardian Angel Program. Guardian Angels can provide care for a specific animal for $25 per month. They receive a picture of animal, bio and periodic updates about their adopted pet. We have a spay/neuter fund and take donations for that. All of our pets are spayed or neutered prior to adoption.
