Kaiya is a huge sweetheart with a love for fun, adventure, and plenty of enrichment! This energetic girl thrives on outdoor time—whether she’s zooming around the yard, going for a run with her person, or engaging her mind with snuffle mats, lick mats, and treat-finding games. Tug-of-war is another favorite, and she’s always ready for a good round of play.
Kaiya is house-trained, affectionate, and loves spending time with her people, but she also enjoys entertaining herself when needed. She is very food motivated and highly trainable, responding best to positive reinforcement techniques with cheese, chicken, or other tasty rewards.
Because Kaiya is socially awkward with other dogs, she would do best as the only dog in a single-family home or quiet townhome, the type of environment where she has been most successful. She is not looking for canine companions and should continue to focus on building confidence and positive experiences with her people rather than other dogs. She is also best suited to a home without cats.
Kaiya is looking for a patient, active family who can match her energy, provide structure and enrichment, and enjoy adventures together. With the right home, she’ll be a loyal, loving, and fun-loving companion for years to come.
