The devoted Home Fur Good follower may remember Fonzie. He came to Home Fur Good as a puppy and was adopted back in December 2015. His owner came to a point where they could no longer provide the care needed for their multiple dogs, and returned Fonzie to HFG. He is a seven-year-old, 16-pound Chihuahua mix. Fonzie has the cutest little teefers that stick out when his lips get stuck. Fonzie lived in a home with other dogs and did well with all of them. In fact, Fonzie came back to HFG with one of them, Mikey. They get along great, which you should know if you happen to be in the market for two cuties. They adjusted quickly to shelter life and are eager to show their love bug side. If you sit down on their level, you will suddenly find yourself loaded up with two cuddle bugs. Fonzie is not shy about asking for cuddles; he makes adorable little squeaky noises. Mikey will wait and let you make the first move; he is happy to let you scoop him up for some squishie squeezes. Fonzie does have a collapsing trachea and he will require medication for life. He is a happy little guy and he does not want to give up his walks, so a harness would be best. If you are looking for a jolly guy, give a call to meet Fonzie. The adoption fee is $150 and includes spaying/neutering, age-appropriate vaccinations, microchipping, and a free wellness visit at Phoenix Mountain Animal Hospital. Our adoption hours are Thursday-Saturday from 11:00 am-4:00 pm by appointment.
