My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Tank is an approx. 6.5 mos old 15 # Corgi. His owner was no longer able to care for him so he is now looking for his new forever home. Tank is a typical puppy; sometimes he barks, sheds, chews on things, and has accidents in the house. Please do NOT apply for him if you’re not ready to deal with the things that a puppy comes with or punish him for not understanding. He’s learning quickly and he’s a bit of a velcro puppy so someone home during the day who has time for puppy training is REQUIRED. Tank would like another younger, playful canine sibling in his new home to show him the ropes. He LOVES to sleep in the big bed near his human’s head (he’ll even share “his” pillow), walks great on the leash, and is dog/kid friendly with dog savvy, respectful kids 10+. He has not been tested with cats. Tank doesn’t love his crate but will go in there to eat and sometimes take a nap with the door open. Speaking of eating, he’s quite picky when it comes to food and does need to gain a couple pounds. He’s NOT fully potty trained and needs to be let out frequently even during the night. He will have some accidents esp in a new environment with a new routine as he doesn’t know yet how to tell his people he needs to go outside. He also needs to be accompanied and watched that he potties outside and rewarded so he understands that’s the appropriate place for his business. Tank’s new home REQUIRES experienced, active humans who will take him on adventures and keep him socialized and who have a fenced in yard where he can romp and play. Tank is NOT a good fit for an apartment situation.  Tank is neutered, utd on vaccs, HW- and chipped. If interested in meeting Tank and you meet the requirements above, you can complete our application at https://www.corgisandfriends.com/forms We require the application, home and reference check, and meet with all humans and pets in the home. Tank’s adoption fee is $550 and we are not doing out of state adoptions; no exceptions.
