Fergie is a one year old Boxer possibly Boster Terrier mix that weighs 32 pounds, but like with any dog, we can't guarantee the breed.
Fergie was found as a stray and was not claimed. Fergie is house trained, crate trained and is good with other dogs. She has not been around small children, but based on her gentle nature, we don't anticipate a problem. Fergie is initially shy around new people, but warms up to them very quickly. Snuggling on the couch, going for walks and playing with squeaky toys are among her favorite things to do. She is currently living with cats and has been good with them. Sleeping quietly in a crate is no problem for her. Fergie is a happy little dog and is excited to find her forever home!
If you are interested in adopting Fergie please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.
***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a socially distanced meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
