My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Peggie Pegajosa was born in December of 2021 and weighs about 45 lbs.  She is an energetic, playful girl who exudes enthusiasm. Even so, she will sit when told and can walk nicely on a leash. Peggie tries hard to please but staying calm when she hasn't had much attention is hard for her. She loves life and people and likes to be close as much as possible. Peggie craves love and wants to be your best friend. She will make a terrific companion and will fill your home with love.

More about this rescue

Formed in 2008, Cinderella Pet Rescue was established to rescue animals from abuse, neglect and abandonment and to help prepare the for adoption. Additionally CPR promotes spay/neuter to reduce the serious homeless pet crisis in the Rio Grande Valley of South Texas. An all volunteer organization, there are normally between 55 and 65 dogs at our no-kill shelter as well as a couple dozen cats. Even more pets are placed in foster homes in preparation for adoption. Not funded by anyone, Cinderella Pet Rescue counts on donations and fundraisers to support the needs of the animals in care, from food to veterinary treatment. More volunteers and foster homes are always needed.
