Arnold is a magnificent 8-year old male Redbone Coonhound mix who was brought to the HSOV on November 24, 2022 by the Washington County Ohio Dog Warden who had picked him up on Calder Ridge Road in the Belpre Ohio area. Unfortunately Arnold was not wearing a collar, and he was not microchipped.
Arnold has an auburn short smooth coat, a long tail, and a beautiful Coonhound face with expressive dark brown eyes, a dusting of white on his muzzle, and extra-large brown velvet ears which frame his face.
True to his noble breed, Arnold has the wonderful personality for which Hounds are known and prized by those who love them. Arnold was 'cool, calm, and collected' when HSOV Kennel Tech Zarah Strahler spent time with him on a sunny afternoon and treated him to extra TLC for being such a good boy.
Arnold weighs 64.6 lbs and could easily gain a few pounds to fill out his slim trim majestic physique. Arnold was a real gentleman during his photo session, and he walks well on a leash.
In compliance with the Ohio Revised Code, Arnold will be held for three days so that his family will have an opportunity to reclaim him with proof of ownership.
