My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Loona is a beautiful female Tuxedo kitten who was surrendered by her owner on September 30, 2025 along with several other kittens because the family had too many cats and was unable to give them the care that they so desperately needed.

Unfortunately five of the kittens passed away soon after being brought to our shelter. Thanks to the loving care of our HSOV Kennel Techs, Loona survived in addition to seven of her siblings/housemates (Agent Two, Beelzebub, Mammon, Millie, Oz, Striker, and Verosika).

Loona has a shiny black short smooth coat with white patches on her chest/belly in a Tuxedo pattern, white paws, a long tail, and an adorable kitten face with golden eyes, a black velvet nose, and long black whiskers.

Loona was estimated to have been 7-weeks old when she entered our shelter and weighed 1.4 lbs. She was given vaccinations on October 18, 2025. Loona was given booster vaccines on November 6th and November 22nd 2025. She weighed 2.7 lbs on November 22nd. Loona has also been given flea treatment and Drontal wormer.

These photos were taken on January 10, 2026 when HSOV kennel techs Lauryn Hamilton, Madison Lee, and Hannah McClain assisted Loona and her housemates with their 'big boy/big girl' photos. This little playgirl is all about fun-and-games and loves to play with toys (and her tower mates). She is good with children and other cats/kittens.

Loona will be spayed (tentative in February 2026) before being adopted by her new family (a requirement for HSOV adoptions to be finalized).
