Ouzo may be the sweetest dog her foster mom has ever met. Despite her rough beginning, she has bounced back and is learning to enjoy life. She warms up to women faster than men and takes her time meeting new dogs. She would probably prefer a less boisterous canine sibling. She gets along great with cats. Ouzo walks nicely on a leash, is crate trained, house trained and has never chewed anything inappropriate in her foster home. She is a 3-year-old Labrador Retriever/Boxer/Hound mix who weighs 40 pounds. She is spayed and up to date on vaccinations.
If you are interested in adopting Ouzo please submit an inquiry directly with Greater Charlotte SPCA by visiting charlottespca.org/adopt.
***Because our rescue is composed entirely of volunteers, local applications will take precedence. We will accept out of town applications, but any family is responsible for coming to Charlotte to complete a socially distanced meet and greet. All out of town applicants will also have to be willing to drive to Charlotte to meet/pick up the pet as soon as they are approved to adopt.***
