Meet Waggles – your fun-loving, bouncy best friend!

Waggles is an active, playful, and curious pup who loves being part of the action. He’s always eager to head out on walks, explores the world with enthusiasm, and greets new people with a happy wag. Volunteers describe him as easy to handle and say he even offers “sit” on his own when treats are around – this clever boy knows how to work his charm!

In foster care, Waggles enjoyed running and playing with a young child, showing his joyful and friendly side. He’s also a snuggler at heart – his previous owner shared that he loved sleeping in bed with his people. Whether he’s sprawled out in the shade with a favorite toy or happily bouncing along by your side, Waggles is ready to bring fun, affection, and a little silliness into his forever home.

Fill out an adoption questionnaire and get ready to meet with a counselor (same day!)

You'll meet with the pet with one of our adoption counselors or we will connect you with the foster home!

The Adoption Center is open M,T,Th,Fr from 12-7pm and Saturday & Sunday from 12-5pm. The Shelter is closed to the public on Wednesdays.

The Montgomery County Animal Services and Adoption Center (MCASAC), proudly operated by the Montgomery County Office of Animal Services, provides high-standard sheltering and care to the homeless, abused, and neglected animals in Montgomery County and ensures the safety and welfare of the county’s citizens.

The Center’s doors are open to all animals in need from: dogs and cats to farm animals, wildlife, and exotics. Trained staff provide animals with daily care, mental and physical enrichment, health and wellness checks, and more. Through adoptions, spay and neuter assistance, vaccination clinics, education and outreach, the Center serves as a critical community resource to promote and advocate for responsible pet care. With community support and partnerships with other animal-welfare groups, our Foster, Rescue and Volunteer programs enhance and save the lives of even more homeless animals.
