Friend’s story is a tough one, but this sweet soul is finally getting the love he deserves! He was found tied up outside our shelter, and it was clear he had endured a rough past. Some staff from the local Greenway recognized him and shared that he had often been left with a group of people living in various encampments, where he was tied up for long periods of time with no access to shelter or kindness. Despite this, Friend never lost his gentle nature.
Since coming to us, Friend has been soaking up all the love and attention he can get. His heart is as big as his personality, and he’s quickly proven that he’s incredibly friendly and ready to be a loyal companion. While life may have made him look older than he is, we’re fairly confident about his age, and he’s definitely not letting anything hold him back.
We think Friend might have a little teddy bear in him, with his soft, cuddly demeanor. He absolutely loves belly rubs and snuggles, and he’s looking for a family that will give him the comfort and care he’s been missing. Despite his past, he’s all about making new, loving memories and being the best friend you could ask for.
If you`re looking for a sweet dog who’s ready to give love and receive it in return, Friend is the perfect fit. He’s waiting for someone to show him just how wonderful life can be when surrounded by love and kindness.
