My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.

ATDR 3828

Say hello to Tiger! This big handsome hunk was recently surrendered by his owner. He's currently enjoying good vittles and a comfy bunk with soft blankies in an ATDR foster home run by a nice lady...getting to know the rules and sharing life with other cool four-legged roomies! Tiger is big into taking nice walks and then crashing happily afterward. He's fully vetted and anxious to find a new forever home with his very own person or people to take him on walks and share other fun things to explore this exciting thing called life! Tiger needs at least one doggie buddy.

If you're looking for a big energetic boy ready to be your best friend and running buddy and you live in a house with a securely fenced yard where a guy can spend some energy, please submit an adoption application for Tiger. He says, 'Life would be so much more fun with me riding shotgun!'

TIGER MUST BE ADOPTED BY SOMEONE IN THE DFW AREA.

More about this rescue

All Texas Dachshund Rescue, Inc., is made up of a group of volunteers whose primary goal is to rescue, rehabilitate and re-home disabled and otherwise endangered Dachshunds who have found themselves homeless for one reason or another. It is our policy that no dogs will be adopted out without first being spayed or neutered, have had all vaccines updated, are heartworm negative, are on heartworm preventative, and have had all other health issues we consider important to the pet’s life addressed that we are able.

All incoming Dachshunds will be placed in temporary foster homes, where they will be evaluated while living indoors with the foster families in a safe and nurturing home environment, until such time as they are ready to be placed in a loving, adoptive, forever home.

A 501(c)(3) non-profit organization.
