Sara is a Poicephalus (Senegal) parrot who prefers women and hates vegetables! She is not a noisy girl but enjoys whistling and talking, saying “Hey Sara!” and “Come here!” in the sweetest little voice. Sara is super smart and will learn new tricks if you reward her with safflower seeds. She is content in her cage, but she also loves to fly and enjoys a spacious area to use her wings. She likes riding on shoulders, gentle head scritches, and trying new foods...unless those foods are vegetables! Sara is hand-tame, but on her own terms, sometimes preferring to step up onto arms. Because she can be unpredictable around people and other birds, she will need a home with prior bird experience that can offer patience, routine, and lots of positive reinforcement when she is a good bird. And no vegetables! Adoption fee: $300.
