This excellent companion dog is Worthy! He adores his people and loves to cuddle. He also loves to exercise, so he would be great for someone who is looking for a running buddy and a play buddy for another active dog. He can be shy when first meeting someone new and needs someone who knows how to make him feel safe in those situations, but once he is shown everything is ok, he does so much better. Worthy's foster mom says he is very smart and knows lots of tricks! He is also crate trained and house-trained and is working on leash training. He would be a great fit for anyone who is looking for a running and cuddling buddy. Worthy is so ready to find a family of his own to love!

We require an application, phone interview and home visit prior to adoption. We will not discuss a specific dog with an applicant until the adoption process is completed. Our adoption fees are $350 for dogs 9 months to 7 yrs and $400 for puppies 8 months and younger. Dogs 8 yrs and older are $125.

We do require an application, phone interview, and home visit.

Rescued breeds will include Golden Retrievers, Labrador Retrievers, Curly Coated Retrievers, Flat Coated Retrievers, Chesapeake Bay Retrievers, and Nova Scotia Duck Tolling Retrievers.
