Meet Nala, the adorable 3-year-old Husky/Malamute mix, is in search of her forever family! She came to us after being surrendered. She's now in a much better place and ready to find a loving home where she can thrive. Nala is a mischievous, silly, funny girl who will certainly keep you on your toes! Her stubborn nature adds to her charm, and she knows just how cute she is. When you try to get her inside when she doesn't want to go, she'll swoosh that fluffy tail around, giving you a side-eye or a smile.
Toys of all kinds make Nala ecstatic, and she's a big fan of treats too! However, she prefers the chewy, good treats over plain biscuits. This little lady knows what she likes. Having spent a fair amount of time outdoors in her prior life, Nala may initially be unfamiliar with certain household noises. She can be a bit skittish if she’s unsure, so a patient and understanding home would be ideal for her.
Nala will REQUIRE a secure fence yard. She also REQUIRES a household experienced with Huskies or Malamutes. These breeds have specific needs and temperaments that require a certain level of understanding. We also do not recommend households with children under 10 years old for this gal. Despite her quirks, Nala is incredibly loving. She adores getting her ears and butt scratched, and she'll soak up all the affection you give her. Nala enjoys playing fetch and already knows commands like "drop" and "sit." While Nala is dog-friendly, we're unsure about her compatibility with cats.
