My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

MEET FINNICK!

Bonded "brothers" Haymitch and Finnick joined the rescue when their heartbroken former family could no longer care for them. Though we're not sure they are related, these boys grew up together and would be so happy to find a retirement home where they can remain together! A tall ask to adopt a bonded pair of senior cats, but we're confident that the perfect home is out there for them!

Both boys are around 11 years old. Finnick (black) is a handsome and sleek house panther who is outgoing and chatty. After the initial time it takes to settle in, Finnick is sure to act like your little welcoming committee after a long day of work. He does this hilarious thing where he'll grab your hand with his paws to let you know he'd like some pets. Haymitch is a BIG ole tabby who will likely need a little more time to settle into his future home. He relies on his brother for confidence and took a few weeks before he was ready to be super brave in his foster home. Now that he has settled in and begun showing his adorable personality, we've found that he "grumble purrs"! As in, while he's purring (which is often), he makes little grumble sounds! Pretty funny. Both boys' personalities seem to complement each other perfectly.

Haymitch and Finnick are currently in foster care with other cats and a small dog and they don't mind sharing their space. They're also living with children and while both are appropriate and friendly with them, Finnick is a bit more outgoing naturally.

Finnick and Haymitch are available for adoption through City of Elderly Love! They are neutered, vaccinated and microchipped. They are also FIV/FeLV negative. Interested in adopting them?
