Charlie
URGENT Foster/Home Needed – Long Island, NY

Meet Charlie! This 15mo old red nose male Pittie, weighing about 60lbs, needs a new home. He was rescued as a pup about a year ago but he’s not getting along well with the other dog in the family. Charlie is good with people and kids, he lets the resident 2-yr-old climb all over him, but he needs to be the only dog in the home. Charlie is very energetic and would love a nice yard to play in. He likes going for walks on the leash and enjoys car rides. He loves cuddles and attention, and he really loves his treats!! Charlie is fully trained, including crate, neutered and up to date on all vaccinations. He understands basic commands like sit, paw and lay down.

Pioneers for Animal Welfare Society (PAWS), Inc., is a 501(c)(3) not for profit, all volunteer NYS corporation which has been operating on Long Island for 40 years. We are working to create a better welfare system for all the animals in our communities. Over the years, we created, and continue to create, a number of valuable programs which serve to promote our mission to create respect for all animals, to educate individuals about animals, to help people keep their animals, and to provide assistance with the control of the animal population on Long Island.
