My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Sweetheart George is Mr. Affection. He loves people, plain and simple, but especially cat savvy children. He gives kisses, head bunts and loves laptime. George came to us from a situation where there were just too many cats. Being a senior it was decided to try to find him a real home rather than leave him where he was kept primarily outside. This guy deserves the indoor life of warmth, cuddles, yummy food and companionship. He had a prior encounter with a raccoon and lost the sight in one eye! Who would like to give this darling boy a safe home to live out the rest of his life? You will not be disappointed when you meet him.

George has been neutered, is up to date on his shots, and will be microchipped before going to an adoptive home. He tested negative for FeLV and FIV. The adoption fee has been reduced since he is a senior. An application, safety home check, landlord approval if renting, and an adoption fee are required.

More about this rescue

We rescue animals from high kill shelters or abandoned local strays and foster them until they find an adoptive home. Our southern branch also goes out on emergency rescue calls for cats in drain and sewer pipes, up trees, stuck in walls etc. Transport in available up and down the state of CA. We also TNR local stray and feral populations. The plight of homeless animals moves us deeply. It is unspeakably horrific to see gentle loving animals killed simply because they are homeless. While we cannot save them all, each one saved deserves it. We are a 501c3 registered, CA non-profit corporation.
