Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Citrine was rescued by a pair of previous adopters as they were getting their morning Starbucks and saw her dash across Hwy 101. Horrified, they chased her down and caught her, saving her life. They contacted us and we took her in. She was initially terrified and is still easily spooked, but she loves to be held, petted and cuddled. We are not sure if she was dumped or a kitten of a stray/feral mom in the downtown Eureka area. She loves attention which indicates she has had human contact before, but she is nervous which may indicate she was abandoned to survive on her own. She could possibly have been the offspring of an unfixed cat belonging to someone homeless.
Citrine needs a quiet home with gentle people. She is very pretty with cream colored fur and big blue eyes. In the right home she will blossom into an affectionate companion.
Citrine has been spayed, had her first kitten shots, tested negative for FeLV and FIV, been deflead and dewormed, and microchipped.
An application, safety homecheck, landlord approval if renting, and and adoption fee are required. Discount to seniors, military/veterans, and with proof of disability.
