My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hi everyone, I wanted to introduce myself. My name is Bennie and I was rescued by a good samaritan who saw a posting by my family looking to get rid of me to the first person who came along. Thankfully someone kind took me in until rescue placement could be found

I have now been seen by the vet and both neutered and vaccinated against RHDV. I have wonderful litterbox habits and a great love of food. I am a wonderful hay eater and enjoy my pellets as well. My back feet seem a bit too large for my body which makes me a bit klutzy at times but my foster mom says it adds to my charm. I am actually a purebred Himalayan as there is a tattoo in my ear from whoever the breeder was. The family that purchased me told the people who took me that rabbits are useless animals. Can you believe something like that was said about my species? Humans are so silly!!!

I may be a good bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a friend.

I am eating all Oxbow brand pellets and hay and a big bowl of fresh water plus my daily salads and weekly treats.

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a sweet little guy like me?

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
