My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hello everyone, my name is Heathcliff, and I was recently taken into the rescue when my previous caretaker passed away suddenly and left myself and a few other buns needing a place to go.

I am a Flemish Giant breed of bun although we do not believe a pure bred as I weigh only 12 1/2 lbs. Most true Flemish are a bit bigger. I am a gorgeous and very friendly bun who is extremely food motivated. I have been neutered and vaccinated against RHDV and I have wonderful litterbox habits. I will definitely need a good amount of space considering my size so please keep that in mind when inquiring about me.

I am eating a proper diet of Oxbow Timothy pellets, lots of timothy hay and a big bowl of fresh water daily. I absolutely LOVE my daily greens and that can include romaine, parsley, dandelions greens and carrot tops. I also enjoy apples, bananas, blueberries and grapes, in moderation of course.

I may be a great bonding candidate for any spayed females searching for a friend.

Would you consider opening your heart and home to a gorgeous guy like me?

Go meet their pets

All bunnies are kept in foster homes so please email us and we can make arrangements for you to meet.

More about this rescue

After fostering for over 20 years I decided it was time to open my own rescue. Bunnies are intelligent caring sensitive creatures who blossom in the right environment. They have much more spunk and personality than most people realize . You will be a convert once you have the chance to experience first hand how wonderful a compainon they can be.
