My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Romina! This adorable petite kitty loves to give kisses and is looking for her forever home! Romina is a sweet, playful and chatty girl, who enjoys being petted and sitting in your lap. She's happy to hear how your day went and will tell you about hers, too. She can become overstimulated with too much attention, but if that happens, she'll just need a little break and is ready for more love. She is looking for a home with another friendly cat to play with or she'd love to be adopted together with her pal, Jordy (also on the website).

Romina would do best in a home with adults or a family with older kids over the age of six who have some previous experience with cats. She has met dogs before and should do well with proper introductions.

Romina was diagnosed with tooth resorption after some persistent issues with gingivitis. She had two affected teeth removed. Her other teeth look good now, but it is an issue that she may have to deal with again in the future.

Romina is currently at our adoptions location inside Pet Food Express at the Crossroads in Carmel. Meet and greet can be scheduled once an online application has been received and approved.

Additional adoption info

Adoption fees help to cover the cost of the care the animal has received during their time with us, including spay/neuter, vaccines, microchipping, deworming, and flea treatment and basic foster care.

All potential adopters complete an application and are screened using a standardized series of questions by a trained adoption counselor. If the application and screening are satisfactory, a qualified adopter can complete a contract, pay the adoption fee and take the animal home.
